Manhattan- Taco Lucha

Recently I visited a relatively new Aggieville District Manhattan, Kansas restaurant that my good friend Jodi suggested.
Jodi told me that I just had to try the delicious Taco Lucha pork wings. Pork wings, (commonly called pig wings) are a tasty cut of meat taken from the rear leg of a hog. This relatively new food item has been made popular by an episode of television show Man V. Food, and can only be found in a scattering of restaurants nationwide.
As far as I know, Taco Lucha is one of the only places in Kansas currently serving up this pork delicacy. Jodi was correct, these little wing like pieces of pork, found Taco Lucha’s appetizer menu, are extremely delicious! My main course, after the pork wing appetizer, was a braised pork platter. This fantastic looking platter included green chili covered hunks of pork and was served up with black beans, rice and tortillas.
While this restaurant has extremely limited seating capacity, I will give it credit for a menu not like any others in the area and for having extremely good customer service. Come when you have plenty of time on on hand and enjoy the wonderful pork wings!
